There is finally some good news on the horizon! Snapper and Flathead catches in South Australia have been really good and thanks to these catches the price has taken a tumble making both species really great value. Conditions in New Zealand have eased and we have good volume confirmed for Thursday sales, expect to see Blue eye, Hapuka, Trumpeter and Monkfish (bulk buy) finally back in stock. After all the wind and rain we've had in Victoria over the weekend local catches have been limited but should improve from Wednesday. Many of you will know that Victorian smoked eels haven't been around and this can be blamed on the cold snap as eels tend to become inactive when water temperature decreases, the recent rain is apparently a good thing for motivating eels and we should have some beautiful smoked Skipton eels in soon.
