We are expecting a tough week for supply and all you have to do is stick your head outside to see why! Tuna, Swordfish, Blue eye and Hapuka should be fairly stable with a few extra surprise catches a possibility. Local catches will be the hardest hit meaning Calamari, Garfish and King George whiting could be a bit sketchy. Trevally, Blue grenadier and large Flathead have been hard to come by and the pricing reflects the lack of supply.
Clamms is currently well stocked in Baby Snapper (pictured), John Dory, Salmon, Ocean Trout, Saikou Mt Cook Salmon, Giant Grouper and Calamari but not all these lines are likely to be around late in the week. The Turbot (pictured) that arrived this morning is exceptional and ranges in size from 800g to 2kg each a real treat that you will not regret if you have the space on your specials board.
With weather conditions and unpredictable catches expected it is best to give us a call for guidance or suggesting some alternative products in case your first preference isn't available.
