Market Report

Clamms Seafood would like to invite our valued customer's and staff to place their Christmas order with us

It's looking like the lead up to the finals is going to be a tough one in terms of supply, there has been very little fish at the market this week and current feedback from fishermen is for this trend to continue. - Both Blue eye and Hapuka are really expensive and that's only if you are lucky enough to get your hands on any!

  • Live hand dived Victorian scallops are due into Clamms late this morning, be sure to get your orders in early as volume is lower than previous weeks due to windy conditions on the bay.
  • Fresh Victorian urchin roe supply this week will be confirmed on Wednesday afternoon the guys are currently in the water but yield is unknown until the urchins are processed.
  • Clamms has secured a good supply of Ling and Snapper to last throughout the week. Barramundi fillets are our fresh Bulk Buy item this week as well as a number of frozen specials.
  • Rotten luck for Spring Bay Mussels this year with algae still present in samples taken, this has been the longest time that these lovely large mussels have been off the market.
  • Finally just a reminder that Clamms will be open until midday on Friday (geez we love our customers) and Saturday (Grand Final day) we are operating as usual until 11am.
